* Congregate Meals
Why eat alone? A hot, catered lunch is offered Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Lemington Community Services (LCS). We provide diet-specifit lunches by prescription, only.
Join us for our special Birthday Breakfast every 3rd Friday of the month from 10:30 - 12:00 Noon.
* Socialization / Recreation
Entertainment and leisure activities are offered Monday through Friday at LCS, including: exercise, card games, music, poetry, crafts, yoga, and a variety of "Out-N-About" trip. Bingo Tuesdays: Come enjoy the excitement every Tuesday from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
* Educational Classes
Classes are provided by Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) and other servce provides. Classes range from Therapeutic Massage to International Cuisine and more.
* Spiritual Guidance
A pastor is available for pastoral care and counseling upon request. Daily devotional time is an option for those who so desire.
* Legal Assistance
An attorney is available to offer free legal advice on a variety of issues.
* Guest Speakers
Diverse educational presentations are offered at LCS, including topics such as health & wellness, care giving, relocation, medical managemnt, home safety, wills, and much more.
* Fitness and Health
Silver Sneakers is offered three times a week, as well as, other specialized health and wellness programs.
* Outreach
LCS reaches out to seniors, caregivers, and community members to provide information, tools, and referrals that support independent living, decreased isolation, and premature institutionalization. LCS promotes mental, physical, and financial health and stability.
* Transportation
Can't get where you need to go? LCS can help arrange transportation for shopping, personal needs, appointments, and senior programs. Don't let transportation issues become a barrier to your independence.
"Guys & Gals" Day
Meet with other men & women every 4th Friday of the month from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for cards, games, lunch, music, and fun.

M.O.R.E. Initiative (Men of Real Empowerment)
Join Lemington Community Services M.O.R.E. Initiative and increase your mental, physical, and spiritual health, while you put your vocational, academic and leadership skills in use. Become a part of a vibrant social network of other senior men. Participate in activities and trainings with access to information & referrals that support fuller, healthier lifestyles. M.O.R.E. membes, also, have opportunities to assume leadership roles to help make their community a better place.
A Fisherman's Tale
Join us for LCS "A Fisherman's Tale" programs for fishing trips to holes located along Pittsburgh's Three Rivers, and new bike and walking trails. This program, specifically, recruits senior males--age 60 & odler--to enjoy the great outdoos while recalling tales of the good ol' days. Social and health care professionals will, also, be available to address a variety of mental, physical, and spiritual health topiccs.
